HCSO report: Rogersville man arrested after deputies find 13-year-old driving him to liquor store


A MAN HAS BEEN ARRESTED AFTER DEPUTIES WITH THE HAWKINS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE FOUND HIS JUVENILE SON DRIVING. “JOHNNY NAPIER” OF ROGERSVILLE WAS ARRESTED YESTERDAY MORNING AFTER A TRAFFIC STOP. ACCORDING TO A REPORT OFFICERS WERE ADVISED TO BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR A WHITE CADILLAC THAT HAD LEFT TUGGLE HILL ROAD. THAT HAD LEFT TUGGLE HILL ROAD. A TRAFFIC STOP WAS PERFORMED A ON A VEHICLE MATCHING THE DESCRIPTION. THAT’S WHEN DEPUTIES SAW “A SMALL MALE JUVENILE” DRIVING WHILE NAPIER WAS IN THE PASSENGER SEAT. NAPIER ALLEGEDLY SMELLED OF ALCOHOL AND HAD SLURRED SPEECH AS WELL AS GLOSSY EYES. NAPIER WAS ARRESTED AND CHARGED WITH CHILD ENDANGERMENT AMONGST OTHER CHARGES. HE IS BEING HELD IN THE HAWKINS COUNTY DETENTION FACILITY.
