Hello everybody welcome back to FairgroundsTV!
I’m your host Peter Moeller. Today we have a nice Chilean Cab.
This is Montes Classic series Cabernet Sauvignon 2011.
It got rated 90 points by Robert Parker. Nice slightly mahogany reddish color.
Let’s give it a sniff. *sniffs*
I’m getting a slight oak and a *sniffs*
It’s got a little earth to me, for some reason, in the nose.
Let’s give it a sip. *sips*
Nice fruits. Slight cocoa.
Little caramel, maybe from that oak. It’s a little, it’s slightly tannic.
It could definitely use maybe 2 or 3 years laying down and you know, drink it over the
course of the next 2 or 3 years. Beautiful flavor, nice wine.
This is a very nice wine. I usually don’t drink a lot of Chilean stuff
but this is very nice and surprising. This is probably a great house wine if you
like those oakier reds. Come check it out, this is, this should be
definitely a house favorite red cab, for parties. Hope you enjoy it!
